NUNEATON RUGBY CLUB

NUNEATON RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

& NUNEATON BOROUGH FOOTBALL CLUB

The site at NRFC is shared with the Nuneaton Borough Football Club.

A steady stream of players, supporters and visiting clubs via coaches gives the traffic up and down the entrance drive quite a bit of wear.

As with many road planings are put down and rolled in frequetly only to be washed away.

After slight apprehension by our system we were given the go ahead to reclaim the driveway asfar as the NRFC club house.

Above: The main drive to the sports clubs, pot holed and not very attractive.

Above and Below: The Crusher is set to height so that it works beneath the depth of the pot holes.
If the pot hole is not processed to its entire depth it leaves a dish that collects water, and 'hey presto' another pot hole is born.

Pot holes can not be successfully filled with any medium they need eradicating completely.

Above:At this particular site there is a tarmac pedestrian foot path that runs at the side of the drive.

This is left in place, but our machine can process flush upto the pathway.

The drive is then carefully graded to ensure that its it level and contoured for surface run off.
Looking down towards the club house there is a grass verge to the right of the drive so it made sense to direct the water in that direction and away from the pedestrian footpath.

The processed material is consolidated down with a vibrating roller. In the days and weeks to come the material bind together and become a stabilised road.

The road can be driven on imediately and was tested that evening by the football clubs home supporters.
